The Collaborative Sequencing Center (CSC), launched in 2010, acts as the primary next generation sequencing resource for TGen. The CSC has expertise in nucleic acid extractions, library preparation of short read whole genome, long read DNA libraries, whole and custom exome, and RNA sequencing libraries. The CSC utilizes the Illumina NovaSeqX Plus instrument and PacBio Onso for short read sequencing. Oxford Nanopore PromethION and PacBio Revio are utilized for long read sequencing. The CSC employs an internally developed laboratory information management system that enables seamless tracking of samples from sample receipt, through all laboratory processes and QC assessments, and thorough post-sequencing review of sample metrics.
